What Is a Section 104 Agreement?
A section 104 agreement (under the Water Industry Act 1991) is an agreement between a developer and sewerage undertaker for the adoption of sewers serving a development. It provides a mechanism for newly constructed private sewers and pumping stations to be looked after by local sewage authorities at their own expense.
How JIG UK Can Help?
It can be difficult for developers to obtain an agreement, but we can help! We specialise in the arrangement of Section 104 agreements as our team regularly negotiates these agreements for commercial and construction clients.
Our professionals are here to support you with all of your drainage and sewage needs. A Section 104 agreement must be entered into before the construction of sewers begins so we can help you make sure you have an agreement before work begins.
CCTV Surveys
With the latest CCTV camera technology, we are able to check the condition of all drains and provide recorded images of the findings and full discloser to client.
Why Use CCTV Surveys?
A problem with your drain isn’t always easy to spot and CCTV Surveys can identify problems that traditional rodding and high-pressure jet washing techniques cannot resolve. A CCTV survey can even show the condition and location of pre-existing drains under or within close proximity of any building work you are carrying out.
At JIG UK, we regularly assist customers across commercial sectors with their property and construction industries and are able to use our CCTV surveys for ongoing maintenance of drains, not just potential blockages. We are able to see the condition of your entire drainage system and pipework.
