“I’ve worked within the environment industry since 1994, 17 years in a local council then the rest of my working years in the drainage industry working for Lumsden and Carroll (esh group) and a couple of years as part of the treatment and pollution teams at Yorkshire Water. Then a big part of AMP 5 as supervisor then operations manager for Lumsden and Carroll. Also AMP 6 for Sapphire/Amey.

Since August 2018 I have been involved in setting up drainage in the North East, and from the end of 2021 I have also taken on the challenge again to start another new company and make it as successful household name as my previous company.

“In 2021 I left the Royal Navy during the covid pandemic, joining the drainage company as a back lad on the CCTV Unit .Within the year I was running the companies CCTV Uint also taking up the role as a team leader.

In 2022 i progressed to Operations Supervisor supporting all the engineers on jobs to make sure done on time and safely

2023 promoted from Supervisor to Operations Manager now I oversee all the engineers work load I price up new works and communicate with clients, operational meetings with the Contacts Director.Covering engineers when on holiday in all the different roles we have and carrying out small repairs on the fleet of units we have.”
